Greg Dunlop – Presidentimageedit_1_4986015334

Please let me introduce myself.  I have 40 years’ experience in the agricultural industry with various large and small businesses, 18 years experience in the market research business and 8 years of experience in the political research business. No I am not in my eighties. These are overlapping experiences!

I have worked in numerous middle and senior management positions in research, product development, business development, sales, product management, advertising and operations/distribution with Shell Chemicals, Ciba-Geigy and Novartis (a major global agricultural, animal health and pharmaceutical firm) working my way up to the executive team as VP with Novartis and responsible for a major Business Unit in Canada and a member of NAFTA and Global strategy teams.

During my time with Novartis I obtained a MBA degree in Marketing and soon after began my Market Research career as Vice-President of Stratus Agri-Marketing, growing this firm into the leader in marketing research in Agricultural industry (seed, biotechnology and crop protection) industry in Canada and a significant player in the US market. I went on to  head up Market Research for AgData Canada developing their Ag market research business from the ground up to become a major player. Prior to that as a consultant I developed a unique product, called BPI Plus which combines market research data and transactional data that is still the crop protection and seed industry standard for syndicated brand use in Canada.

Afterwards I purchased a one-third interest in the firm Campaign Research and became sole owner of iFusion Research focused on Agricultural research, political and public opinion research as well as many projects in energy, transportation and development fields. While at Campaign Research I developed new and better methods for political research including “Voter Gap Analysis” and the “Voter Turnout Model “ giving greater predictive accuracy and insights than ever before in politics.

I have consulted and developed studies in my market research career for companies in Canada and the US such as Monsanto, Syngenta, Bayer, Dow Agrosciences, Dupont/Pioneer, Arysta, NuFarm, Union Gas and MGM Resorts International among many others. I have worked on political campaigns at the municipal, provincial and federal levels.

I have an Honours Bachelor of Science in Agriculture degree majoring in Environmental Biology from the University of Guelph and a MBA, majoring in Marketing, from the Schulich School of Business in Canada. I also obtained my Certified Market Research Professional Certificate with the Market Research and Intelligence Association before the organization was disbanded.

Bottom Line: I have been on the client side. I bring experience in industry. I’ve worked inside political campaigns. We bring creativity with new ways of researching combined with a solid experience and educational foundation on the science, skilled at analysing data in unique ways while distilling this data into meaningful, actionable results.
