Please let me introduce myself.  I have 45 years’ experience in the agricultural industry with various large and small businesses including 20 years’ experience in the market research business. I founded iFusion® Research Corp in 2012 to meet the market research needs of Canadian suppliers to the farm market that were either not being served or needed more accurate and insightful data.

Industry Experience:

I have worked in numerous middle and senior management positions in research, product development, business development, sales, product management, advertising and operations/distribution with Shell Chemicals, Ciba-Geigy and Novartis (a major global agricultural, animal health and pharmaceutical firm) working my way up to the executive team as VP with Novartis and responsible for a major Business Unit in Canada and a member of NAFTA and Global strategy teams.

Market Research Experience:

I began my Market Research career as Vice-President of Stratus Agri-Marketing, growing this firm into the leader in marketing research in Agricultural industry (seed, biotechnology and crop protection) in Canada and a significant player in the US market. I went on to  head up Market Research for AgData Canada developing their Ag market research business from the ground up to become a major player. Prior to that as a consultant I developed a unique product, called BPI Plus which combines market research data and transactional data that is still widely used for crop protection product use information in Western Canada .

I have consulted and developed studies in my market research career for agricultural companies in Canada and the US as well as non-Agricultural firms.

Education:

I have an Honours Bachelor of Science in Agriculture degree, majoring in Environmental Biology from the University of Guelph and a MBA, majoring in Marketing, from the Schulich School of Business at York University in Canada.
